The Benepass Commuter Benefit Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for public transit–including train, subway, bus, ferry and eligible vanpool–and parking as part of your daily commute to work.

How it Works

Order what you need for your monthly commute. In 2026 the maximums that can be deducted from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis will be $340 per month for transit and $340 per month for parking.

You will receive a virtual debit card which you may use on a maximum of $340 eligible commuter expenses each month. You can request a physical card be shipped to you in the mail.
