AlphaSense offers a 401(k) plan, along with a generous employer match, in order to help you prepare for retirement. The 401(k) is administered through Principal.

Eligibility

US-based employees are eligible to participate in the plan immediately.

Contributions

All US-based new hires will be auto-enrolled into the 401k plan @ 3% on the 30th day following your date of hire.

Employer Match

AlphaSense will match 50% (half) of the first 4% of eligible earnings you contribute. To receive the full employer match (i.e. 2% of your eligible earnings), you must contribute at least 4% of eligible earnings.

Ex: If you contribute 3% of your salary, AlphaSense’s contribution will equal 1.5% of your salary. If you contribute 6% of your salary, AlphaSense’s contribution will equal 2%

Vesting

After 1 year at AlphaSense, you will be 100% vested in the employer match in your account. If you leave before 1 year, you will lose any employer match amount in your account.

Please note, the IRS limits 401(k) contributions to $23,000 for 2024, and to $23,500 for 2025. If you are over age 50, you are eligible to contribute an addition catch-up amount of $7,500, to a total $30,500 for 2024, and to a total of $31,000 for 2025.
